Shout Clock Italiano

Privacy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

In short: Shout Clock collects no personal data. There is no account, no ads and no analytics, and the app sends nothing over the network.

Data controller

Fabio Crestoni, the app’s developer. Contact details on the support page.

Microphone and speech recognition

The app uses the microphone only when you turn on “Talk to Shout”, to recognize commands like “Shout, go”. Recognition happens entirely on your phone, using iOS’s on-device speech recognition. Neither the audio nor the transcribed text is recorded, stored or transmitted.

Only in test builds (TestFlight), not in the App Store version, there is a testing feature that keeps the phrases recognized during the session on the phone: testers can export them by hand and decide whether and with whom to share them.

What stays on your phone

Your preferences (mode, countdown length, announcement interval) are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

Third parties

None. The app contains no tracking, analytics or advertising libraries and shares no data with anyone.

Permissions

You can revoke microphone and speech recognition access at any time in Settings › Shout Clock. Without them the app still works with the buttons.

This website

shoutclock.com uses no cookies, analytics or ads. The voice demo on the home page listens to the microphone only after you press “Try it with your voice”, and only inside your browser: the audio is not sent anywhere. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses to deliver pages and protect them from abuse, like any web server.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated. If the app ever needs to process personal data, it will say so here before doing it.
